As we enter mid-year, I'm reflecting on the first six months since Confluence's re-launch. I have made more connections, shared more ideas, gathered more work (though I'm always looking for more!) and am still finding my entrepreneur legs- y'know, like sea legs but for freelance project managers and network/nonprofit consultants.

You might notice some changes around here. I'm experimenting with other ways of sharing what I'm learning and building with people and groups. I selfishly want to fit all the good stuff into one broadcast.

• You'll find what I'm up to and offering at the top.
• Next are training, co-learning, and collaboration events that I that have been sent to me and I think my networks will be interested in.
• As a lifelong learner and a bit of a culture curator, I want to share what I've been reading, watching, or listening to.
• Finally, I'm including mutual aid opportunities. Lots of folks are needing a little extra support.

Project management With over fifteen years of nonprofit management in mostly small and startup environments, Confluence offers comprehensive project management services. If you have a project that is task-oriented and time-bound, or if you just don't have the funds to pay for another staff member, consider working with me.

Thought partnership Ten hours of discrete and uninterrupted times to talk through purpose, map the vision, learn how that interfaces with what you're tasked and funded to achieve, and develop structures and practices rooted in systems thinking.

Building Inclusive Spaces Five hours of our time to move through key leadership attributes, practices, and skills- shifting from how we've been taught to lead to leadership for changemaking. This is an individual offering based on the cohort offering.

Here is the short list for things I've been digging this past month.

Opportunities to help out people in the Confluence sphere. Give what you can, when you can. Even sharing these opportunities in your networks can go a long way in helping folks reach their needed goals.

• ​Help Protect My Mother's Rights - Sequoya is raising funds for legal fees and expenses to keep her mom from being put into a conservatorship.
• ​Support Michelle as She Raises $$ for Needed Medical Testing - Michelle will use funds raised to pay for testing and any treatments needed.
• ​Support Our Dad's Kidney Transplant Journey - Dave is raising funds to build a financial bridge as he undergoes dialysis and potentially another kidney transplant.
