profile

Shift happens.

Confluence supports people and organizations who want to build for change frame their first steps by sharing practical tools and innovative processes. We work with professionals who want to level up their leadership and increase their impact, often in community with other changemakers.

Hi friends,

How are you doing? How are you really doing? The present is unpredictable and the wicked problems we are compelled to create solutions around are complex.

We need new approaches to build the change we desire and deserve. Building Inclusive Spaces is a place for you to learn, teach, and grow.

The type of leadership required right now is adaptive, vulnerable, transformative, and inclusive - and I believe you have what it takes.

I created Building Inclusive Spaces as a way to share nearly five years of learning in six weeks. Together, we'll weave frameworks, stories from the field, and the lived wisdom of participants to help you - coalition leaders and impact professionals - deepen your change practice. You'll learn practical tools and the space is set for us to make the way we work be an example of what's possible.

Building Inclusive Spaces still has spaces available and registration ends on Friday, April 25 at 8pm CST. This cohort is limited to 22 participants. Get in while you can!

This course, delivered in community with other changemakers, will be rich with opportunities to build trust among the group, and includes a final week that wraps up what folks have learned with a teach-back.

More than just what we'll do together, Building Inclusive Spaces will focus on how we move through content areas- together. Together, we'll cover topics like leadership and change management, collaboration and conflict resolution, facilitating inclusive dialogue, and accountability and trust.

I want you and all the people you are in network with to have the opportunity to join the summer cohort. We'll meet virtually on Wednesdays for six weeks, beginning May 7 and ending June 11, 12:30-3p CST.

You are welcome to share the course information or registration link with anyone in your sphere of influence you think could benefit from it!

If you are a board-certified prevention specialist in Tennessee, you'll be eligible to receive up to 15 contact hours or CEUs for attending this training.

Do you lead a network and could stipend spots for folks? BiS is a great way to build trust, encourage growth, and cultivate the leadership of folks in your universe. Connect with me, and we'll get it sorted out.
